With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Vella in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jay Jowsey saved Attard Gunners from getting behind. Sebastian Ekelund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richard Lentini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Floriana Celtics's Godwin Montesin was substituted for Gabriel Vella. Floriana Celtics's Robby Baggio was substituted for Olgierd Dawiec. When Attard Gunners's Sebastian Ekelund in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jay Jowsey was left in no man's land by his defense there! Attard Gunners's Adrian Savona was substituted for Alan Said. Alex Testaferrata Viani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 played minutes Floriana Celtics got a freekick which was hit by Jean Carl Testaferrata Moroni Viani. Floriana Celtics's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
