Stefanos Topoudis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aliverpool's Stefanos Topoudis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthis Paelemans in the 16th minute of play. In the 16th minute Matthis Paelemans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefanos Topoudis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefanos Topoudis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matthis Paelemans went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Aliverpool's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matthis Paelemans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abubakar Kamarád in the 34th minute of play forced Aliverpool's goalkeeper Stefanos Topoudis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Matthis Paelemans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stefanos Topoudis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Chu Zhen Xun took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stefanos Topoudis. Stefanos Topoudis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. The Aliverpool players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. were winning 0-9.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chu Zhen Xun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match, Abubakar Kamarád got a very nice opportunity to score, but Stefanos Topoudis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 53 minutes of play, ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s Abubakar Kamarád made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stefanos Topoudis was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Matthis Paelemans capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Matthis Paelemans really showed his touch with that goal: 0-12. Aliverpool's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Abubakar Kamarád scored to the left of an out of position Stefanos Topoudis, making the score, 0-15. When Abubakar Kamarád fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s protests and gave Abubakar Kamarád a yellow card for diving instead. Abubakar Kamarád hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Chu Zhen Xun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stefanos Topoudis having to make a save. Matthis Paelemans took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stefanos Topoudis. Stefanos Topoudis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-16. Panos Kouretas hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Anestis Tsoukalas succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-18 in the 94th playminute. The Aliverpool fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
