Evan Vancell kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Márk Kovács managed to get in a good position for a shot. Templars FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Márk Kovács was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jörg Wagner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ziya Onur Muzaffer hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute Templars FC were awarded a corner. Staffan Apelqvist went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Staffan Apelqvist almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏'s Jörg Wagner did a great save. Jörg Wagner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Márk Kovács in the 23rd minute of the match. Márk Kovács's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jörg Wagner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏'s Aggelos Zikos suffered a sore thigh after 35 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Benedict Cumberbatch's late challenge caught a ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benedict Cumberbatch helped the player get up and apologised. ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏'s Dionysis Souanis was substituted for Aggelos Zikos. Benedict Cumberbatch kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. If Márk Kovács had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márk Kovács in the 44th minute of play forced ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏'s goalkeeper Jörg Wagner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Harry Kane took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for André Courtois to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Márk Kovács to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Márk Kovács ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jörg Wagner was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Templars FC's André Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christos Kostis in the 53rd minute of play. Jörg Wagner had great luck who in the 54thth minute grab hold of the ball when Márk Kovács from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Márk Kovács put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jörg Wagner. The audience was convinced that Jonathan Sammut's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jörg Wagner was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Jörg Wagner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathan Sammut's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. André Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alketas Tsirakis in the 81st minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏'s goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Phoenix came free, but Jörg Wagner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jörg Wagner was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Adelino Marques. In the 92nd match minute, Templars FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelino Marques to maneuver through the defense. Jörg Wagner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Sammut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Sammut took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jörg Wagner. Jörg Wagner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. The ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Templars FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Templars FC.
