Sliema Dragons FC's Barrie Kerridge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Sliema Dragons FC from getting a goal against them. 12 minutes into the match, Sliema Dragons FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Maria Píriz came free, but Barrie Kerridge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kim Bolas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Niculae Ailenei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sliema Dragons FC's Barrie Kerridge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeu Bessa in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeu Bessa in the 17th minute of play forced Sliema Dragons FC's goalkeeper Barrie Kerridge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kunga King was the one to do the kick off. The corner ended in Baran Erozan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bazellatin F.C.'s Niculae Ailenei did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Maria Píriz in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barrie Kerridge saved Sliema Dragons FC from getting behind. 69 minutes into the game, Bazellatin F.C.'s Bernardino Abastas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Barrie Kerridge made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Sliema Dragons FC made a substitution. Martin Mangion replaced Kim Bolas. Sliema Dragons FC made a substitution. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bazellatin F.C..
