In the 24th minute Guillaume Chaine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corrado Spitaleri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Corrado Spitaleri was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Guillaume Chaine showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 24 minute of play. In the 30th minute, Fabio Bottone ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrien Tanneau was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 33 minutes of play, Borgo Doria F.C.'s Ferdinando Trabucco made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adrien Tanneau was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adrien Tanneau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Scutti in the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Scutti in the 41st minute of play forced Valette Stars's goalkeeper Adrien Tanneau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute of the match, Rafail Rusev got a very nice opportunity to score, but Corrado Spitaleri was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gildo Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Borgo Doria F.C.'s Corrado Spitaleri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Borgo Doria F.C. from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Borgo Doria F.C. booed when Valette Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelson Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nelson Nogueira hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alberto Scutti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Valette Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Bottone came free, but Adrien Tanneau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafail Rusev in the 53rd minute of play forced Borgo Doria F.C.'s goalkeeper Corrado Spitaleri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Borgo Doria F.C.'s Corrado Spitaleri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafail Rusev in the 64th minute of play. Rafail Rusev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gildo Marques was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 67 minutes into the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Fabian Walme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valette Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Walme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Valette Stars's goalkeeper Adrien Tanneau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Corrado Spitaleri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillaume Chaine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valette Stars's Julien Chassot was substituted for Rafail Rusev. Corrado Spitaleri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julien Chassot in the 84th minute of play. If Guillaume Chaine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Borgo Doria F.C.'s zone, Guillaume Chaine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corrado Spitaleri came out of the goal and Guillaume Chaine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 94 minutes of play, Valette Stars's Nelson Nogueira made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Corrado Spitaleri was left in no man's land by his defense there!
