The audience thought a goal was coming when Costin Alucai got free with Roman Matai in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 6 minutes into the game, Velester Football Club's Alfredo Pantani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horea Balint made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Costin Alucai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 16 minutes into the match, Velester Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Costin Alucai came free, but Roman Matai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Velester Football Club's goalkeeper Roman Matai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Alfredo Pantani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Velester Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 30 minutes into the match, Velester Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Costin Alucai came free, but Roman Matai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Bar Marconi United defense, Alfredo Pantani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horea Balint. The Bar Marconi United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horea Balint should have stopped the shot. Roman Matai was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Costin Alucai capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Costin Alucai really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Bar Marconi United's Enrico Romanese was substituted for Alfonso Andreozzi. The Bar Marconi United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Velester Football Club were winning 1-5.

The wind increased when Costin Alucai made the kick off in the second half. Bar Marconi United's Horea Balint proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Bar Marconi United from getting a goal against them. Roman Matai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alisson Aleman in the 57th minute of play. Horea Balint showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Pantani in the 58th minute of the match. After 62 minutes Velester Football Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Enrico Romanese who took care of the corner kick. Roman Matai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabri Yenal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th match minute, Bar Marconi United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrico Romanese to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Enrico Romanese hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Bar Marconi United's Shi Liang Jie seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Shi Liang Jie the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bar Marconi United protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Shi Liang Jie had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Velester Football Club's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
