Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Pantani in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrien Tanneau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 4 minutes into the game, Enrico Di Lorenzo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Adrien Tanneau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Guillaume Chaine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guillaume Chaine kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Valette Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Comunardo Valente came free, but Adrien Tanneau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Valette Stars's goalkeeper Adrien Tanneau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Comunardo Valente. 29 minutes into the game, Valette Stars's Rafail Rusev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roman Matai made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Valette Stars's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Alfredo Pantani scored to the left of an out of position Adrien Tanneau, making the score, 2-1. Adrien Tanneau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Comunardo Valente in the 41st minute. Adrien Tanneau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Comunardo Valente in the 43rd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Valette Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Galtero came free, but Adrien Tanneau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Comunardo Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrien Tanneau having to interfere. Valette Stars's Theo Chassot was substituted for Amadeu Martins. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guillaume Chaine made a kick off. Adrien Tanneau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 62nd minute Rafail Rusev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Matai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrien Tanneau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Comunardo Valente, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Comunardo Valente took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adrien Tanneau. Adrien Tanneau dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. A collision led to Valette Stars getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Nelson Nogueira hit a great ball. Velester Football Club's Roman Matai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafail Rusev in the 74th minute of play. Adrien Tanneau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Pantani in the 78th minute of play. After 82 minutes of play, Velester Football Club's Enrico Di Lorenzo made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adrien Tanneau was left in no man's land by his defense there! 85 minutes into the game, Velester Football Club's Enrico Di Lorenzo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adrien Tanneau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Melquiades Galtero made a great header on Velester Football Club's corner, it was just that Valette Stars's Adrien Tanneau managed to reach the ball for a save. Melquiades Galtero shot a long shot in the 91st minute and a light blocked Adrien Tanneau hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 7-1. When the referee ended the match the Velester Football Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
