If Jaime Tabor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 14 minutes, Nolan Roux managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Le Stade Briochin UC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nolan Roux was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lev Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Fliz in the 16th minute of the match. Jaime Tabor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Pankracy Zawacki when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dimitri Nedellec kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Pankracy Zawacki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitri Nedellec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Le Stade Briochin UC's goal looked a bit too open when Ildefonso Fliz came free, but Lev Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ildefonso Fliz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lev Yashin was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Lev Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shaun De Battista in the 68th minute of the match. Ildefonso Fliz might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lev Yashin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ildefonso Fliz ran back to his position shaking his head. Le Stade Briochin UC's Clovis Janvier was substituted for Ange Lochet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nolan Roux in the 76th minute of play forced Meerkats FC's goalkeeper Pankracy Zawacki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lev Yashin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Fliz, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute.
