Erik Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karlo Radonić in the 5th minute of the match. The supporters of NK BRONZIN booed when Panionios MK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Corrigan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute Karlo Radonić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panionios MK's Erik Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Gündüz Acaralp in the 8th minute of play. Erik Vale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Gündüz Acaralp's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. A hard shot 17 in the game by Allan Corrigan from a close distance when the talented Bernard Kufner managed to make a qualified save. NK BRONZIN's players were relieved. 19 minutes into the match, NK BRONZIN's goal looked a bit too open when Themos Leontiadis came free, but Bernard Kufner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. NK BRONZIN's Bernard Kufner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Themos Leontiadis in the 28th minute of play. If Themos Leontiadis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Panionios MK's Allan Corrigan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernard Kufner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Panionios MK's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Gündüz Acaralp came free, but Erik Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erik Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Gündüz Acaralp in the 44th minute of play. If Allan Corrigan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Erik Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Gündüz Acaralp in the 52nd minute. After 53 minutes Panionios MK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jadranko Šrenger who took care of the corner kick. 54 minutes into the match, NK BRONZIN's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Corrigan came free, but Bernard Kufner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Themos Leontiadis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernard Kufner having to interfere. Panionios MK's Antonis Linardakis managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fran Hunjadi in the 59 minute of the game. In the 61st minute Ahmet Gündüz Acaralp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Karlo Radonić managed to get in a good position for a shot. NK BRONZIN's supporters rose to their feet, but Karlo Radonić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erik Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th match minute, NK BRONZIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivo Vojnović to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Themos Leontiadis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Panionios MK's goalkeeper Erik Vale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Corrigan in the 73rd minute of play forced NK BRONZIN's goalkeeper Bernard Kufner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 played minutes NK BRONZIN got a freekick which was hit by Mirko Janeš. A sloppy throw-in by Fran Hunjadi in the 82nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Panionios MK's Allan Corrigan. Jure Pantić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Erik Vale made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karlo Radonić got free with Erik Vale in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Panionios MK's Erik Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Panionios MK from getting a goal against them. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Panionios MK were victorious despite being under pressure from NK BRONZIN for much of the match.
