Seating: 45, VIP seats: 3) Longobarda's Edwin Godholm started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Longobarda's attentive Manuel Zărnescu managed to snatch the ball when Antonio Perišić made a throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game. After taking down the ball on Longobarda's corner Armin Iacovone fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vello Landi quite easily take care of the ball. Longobarda's Arnulfo Riba quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Antonio Perišić, made in the 12th minute of the game. 13 minutes into the game, Longobarda's Edwin Godholm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vello Landi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Edwin Godholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With his leg Lev Yashin managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when --Sibenik--'s Runar Flou fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lev Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nurettin Ula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vello Landi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Cocca, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. With an all-out effort, --Sibenik--'s Lev Yashin threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Runar Flou, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Longobarda's Manuel Zărnescu got a free kick in the 28th minute. Nurettin Ula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Lev Yashin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute of the match, Runar Flou tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lev Yashin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Vello Landi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Godholm, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Arnulfo Riba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Longobarda's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnulfo Riba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vello Landi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Longobarda's Frank Cherubini got a free kick in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Borislav Tvrdić to strike the kick off in the second half. Edwin Godholm blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vello Landi having to make a save. Edwin Godholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Vello Landi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Runar Flou scored 1-2 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lev Yashin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edwin Godholm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vello Landi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Longobarda's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Manuel Zărnescu in the 59th minute. Borislav Tvrdić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lev Yashin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. The corner ended in Nurettin Ula almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Longobarda's Lev Yashin did a great save. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind --Sibenik--'s goalkeeper Vello Landi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jasenko Rogošić in the 67th minute of play forced Longobarda's goalkeeper Lev Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jasenko Rogošić took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lev Yashin. Lev Yashin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. --Sibenik--'s Domagoj Kovič was substituted for Tihomir Zdorc. Lev Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Borislav Tvrdić in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Runar Flou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lev Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Longobarda's Edwin Godholm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vello Landi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edwin Godholm made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 76thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Vello Landi would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Longobarda made a substitution. Fabiano Canzano replaced Edwin Godholm. Longobarda's Adriano Colantoni was substituted for Frank Cherubini. The supporters of --Sibenik-- booed when Longobarda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cafu Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Florian Cocca took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Vello Landi to make any attempt to save it. Vello Landi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano Canzano in the 89th minute of the match. Vello Landi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabiano Canzano in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute, Anthimos Vougas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Longobarda had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
