In the 7th minute, Youri Borderie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanek Walczyk in the 13th minute of play forced U.S.Normande's goalkeeper Mikael Damm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurélien Mussard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sacha Bové having to make a save. Youri Borderie might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sacha Bové. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Youri Borderie ran back to his position shaking his head. 16 minutes into the match, ANAHA FC's goalkeeper Sacha Bové had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Youri Borderie. If Youri Borderie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Youri Borderie sped through ANAHA FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sacha Bové. If Ludovic Guillois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. U.S.Normande's Mikael Damm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tanek Walczyk in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Youri Borderie lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Sacha Bové. In the 44th match minute, U.S.Normande was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joris Callens to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, Hassan Theron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ludovic Guillois was the one to do the kick off. Mikael Damm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Vallade in the 54th minute of play. With a left leg Sacha Bové saved ANAHA FC from getting behind. 62 minutes into the game, Joris Callens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U.S.Normande's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ANAHA FC the free kick. In the 63rd minute, Joris Callens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the match, ANAHA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Léopold Fraval came free, but Sacha Bové reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mikael Damm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tanek Walczyk in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd match minute, ANAHA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tanek Walczyk to maneuver through the defense. ANAHA FC made a substitution. Nathan Kostermans replaced Cayetano Ponc. In the 74th minute, Tanek Walczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. U.S.Normande were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after ANAHA FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aymerick Tourrette took the corner. Sacha Bové showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Youri Borderie in the 78th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes U.S.Normande got a freekick which was hit by Joris Callens. After a defensive mix-up in ANAHA FC's zone, Youri Borderie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sacha Bové came out of the goal and Youri Borderie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sacha Bové showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Youri Borderie in the 84th minute of the match. U.S.Normande's Mikael Damm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save U.S.Normande from getting a goal against them.
