With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vygandas Jančiauskas in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ludomil Kajdasz saved Herblay from getting behind. SPALLETTE RETURNS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Augusto Bevilacqua in the 9th minute. After taking down the ball on SPALLETTE RETURNS's corner Luca Pellegrini fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ludomil Kajdasz quite easily take care of the ball. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Herblay's goalkeeper Ludomil Kajdasz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd match minute, SPALLETTE RETURNS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Pacella to maneuver through the defense. Norbert Cadart could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Marco Silvestri made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves with his feet 46 minutes in the game Dimitri Bougault managed to fire away a quick shot, that unfortunally went outside the top left corner. The supporters of Herblay booed when SPALLETTE RETURNS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amedeo Palmieri didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Vygandas Jančiauskas made the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, one of Herblay:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Herblay. When the match had been going on for 58 minutes, SPALLETTE RETURNS's Augusto Bevilacqua got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ludomil Kajdasz. Marco Silvestri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Cadart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Vygandas Jančiauskas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ludomil Kajdasz. Herblay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vygandas Jančiauskas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Vygandas Jančiauskas scored 0-5 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ludomil Kajdasz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ludomil Kajdasz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vygandas Jančiauskas in the 73rd minute. In the 88th minute, SPALLETTE RETURNS's Vygandas Jančiauskas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ludomil Kajdasz. Ludomil Kajdasz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Vygandas Jančiauskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludomil Kajdasz having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, SPALLETTE RETURNS's goal looked a bit too open when Léon Monnet came free, but Marco Silvestri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Herblay supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SPALLETTE RETURNS's performance. The match ended with a win for SPALLETTE RETURNS.
