In the 8th minute Damaso Xacintu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaud Cozette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Breizh Punishers's Romeo Liabeuf got a free kick in the 9th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Clayton Gol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnaud Cozette. Breizh Punishers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clayton Gol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The throw-in from Nelson Le Dain in the 15th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sheriff's Sancho Denner. In the 16th minute, Clayton Gol made a precise shot to the right of Arnaud Cozette. Breizh Punishers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. A collision led to Breizh Punishers getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Nelson Le Dain hit a great ball. The Sheriff fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Sheriff's Clayton Gol looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arnaud Cozette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clayton Gol in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Breizh Punishers's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Xacintu came free, but Arnaud Cozette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damaso Xacintu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnaud Cozette read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Nelson Le Dain made in the 31st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Joe Belleville however managed to control. If Clayton Gol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36thth minute of the game Clayton Gol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Breizh Punishers's Arnaud Cozette was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Damaso Xacintu came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Sheriff fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damaso Xacintu couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the match, Clayton Gol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnaud Cozette. Breizh Punishers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clayton Gol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Clayton Gol might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnaud Cozette. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clayton Gol ran back to his position shaking his head. Arnaud Cozette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clayton Gol in the 46th minute of the match. In the 48th minute Clayton Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaud Cozette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After having played for 84 minutes, Clayton Gol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sheriff's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clayton Gol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnaud Cozette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Xacintu in the 86th minute of the match. Arnaud Cozette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clayton Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Breizh Punishers's goalkeeper Arnaud Cozette, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arnaud Cozette made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clayton Gol in the 94th minute. When Natalio Dominguez came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Sheriff fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natalio Dominguez couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute, Morgan Meslin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnaud Cozette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iraklis Karasavvidis in the 98th minute of play. Sheriff played a much better game than Breizh Punishers and deserved their victory. The Breizh Punishers players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
