AC Morena's attentive Alfonso Antognoni managed to snatch the ball when Bruno Maranzano made a throw-in in the 17th minute of the game. Aquiles Gana might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvaro Rotili. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aquiles Gana ran back to his position shaking his head. Dražen Ladić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessio Zoccali, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Aquiles Gana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 34 minutes, Alberigo Di Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.S. Udinese's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberigo Di Franco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfonso Antognoni kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Dražen Ladić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessio Zoccali in the 39th minute of the match. Bruno Maranzano made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AC Morena's Alfonso Antognoni. With a little luck, A.S. Udinese's Alvaro Rotili got control of the ball when Aquiles Gana tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Aquiles Gana made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Aquiles Gana notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of A.S. Udinese's Alvaro Rotili. Alvaro Rotili was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aquiles Gana in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Rotili prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dražen Ladić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alessio Zoccali in the 57th minute. Alvaro Rotili came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Morena's Aquiles Gana. But to his dismay, Aquiles Gana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. A.S. Udinese's Ercole Fiorentino was substituted for Alessio Zoccali. AC Morena's Dražen Ladić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save AC Morena from getting a goal against them. Aquiles Gana scored 5-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alvaro Rotili, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aquiles Gana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alvaro Rotili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Gana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberigo Di Franco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Dražen Ladić made a huge save. Alvaro Rotili stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aquiles Gana's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, AC Morena's goalkeeper Dražen Ladić had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberigo Di Franco. Alvaro Rotili didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aquiles Gana went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. A.S. Udinese's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Augusto Clemente in the 88th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Ercole Fiorentino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dražen Ladić. AC Morena's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ercole Fiorentino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. 96 minutes into the match, A.S. Udinese's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Gana came free, but Alvaro Rotili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AC Morena fans cheered their team off the field, for while A.S. Udinese had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
