In the 5th minute of the match, Tim Vranken tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gergely Seres saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 10 minutes into the game, Les Bistouquettes Bleues's Tim Vranken nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gergely Seres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Gergely Seres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oihan De Toro in the 12th minute of play. Gergely Seres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bryan Creemers went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Oihan De Toro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Gergely Seres made a huge save. Willem-Jan Hollanders took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferenc Sipos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Veresi Új Generáció's Gergely Seres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oihan De Toro in the 23rd minute of play. In the 31st minute, Avni Yağızhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the game, Kaká de Brito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Veresi Új Generáció's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Les Bistouquettes Bleues the free kick. In the 31st minute, one of Veresi Új Generáció:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Veresi Új Generáció. Veresi Új Generáció's Gergely Seres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oihan De Toro in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute Dany-Adams Coeckelberghs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gergely Seres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Veresi Új Generáció's Qiao Lang got a free kick in the 39th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferenc Sipos was the one to do the kick off. Willem-Jan Hollanders took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferenc Sipos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Veresi Új Generáció made a substitution. Mátyás Pál replaced Ferenc Sipos. Veresi Új Generáció were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Les Bistouquettes Bleues's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mátyás Gelencsér took the corner. Veresi Új Generáció's Mátyás Gelencsér was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Willem-Jan Hollanders in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oihan De Toro in the 63rd minute of play forced Veresi Új Generáció's goalkeeper Gergely Seres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute Oihan De Toro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gergely Seres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mátyás Gelencsér's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Willem-Jan Hollanders firmly grabbed it by the left post. 84 minutes into the match, Veresi Új Generáció's goal looked a bit too open when Mbaka Mbabaotu came free, but Gergely Seres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Willem-Jan Hollanders showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mátyás Pál, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute Mátyás Pál shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willem-Jan Hollanders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Veresi Új Generáció's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
