He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Les Bistouquettes Bleues reached it. After taking down the ball on The Underdogs's corner Iustin Hațegan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Willem-Jan Hollanders quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryan Creemers in the 10th minute of play forced The Underdogs's goalkeeper Jan Wessel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of The Underdogs booed when Les Bistouquettes Bleues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregory Algoedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan Wessel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryan Creemers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, The Underdogs's Willem-Jan Hollanders threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dolf Schoonderwoerd, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 26 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Oihan De Toro came free, but Jan Wessel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Les Bistouquettes Bleues was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oihan De Toro to maneuver through the defense. After 29 played minutes Les Bistouquettes Bleues got a freekick which was hit by Gregory Algoedt. In the 30th minute Iustin Hațegan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willem-Jan Hollanders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Les Bistouquettes Bleues's Willem-Jan Hollanders played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustin Hațegan in the 33rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dolf Schoonderwoerd got free with Willem-Jan Hollanders in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robin Boelens in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Willem-Jan Hollanders saved Les Bistouquettes Bleues from getting behind. Willem-Jan Hollanders showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piearres Olalla in the 38th minute of the match. After 40 minutes of play, The Underdogs's Robin Boelens made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Willem-Jan Hollanders was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oihan De Toro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Robin Boelens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willem-Jan Hollanders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Willem-Jan Hollanders made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustin Hațegan in the 56th minute of play. Les Bistouquettes Bleues's Willem-Jan Hollanders played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Boelens in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 63rd minute of play forced Les Bistouquettes Bleues's goalkeeper Willem-Jan Hollanders to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute Iustin Hațegan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willem-Jan Hollanders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Willem-Jan Hollanders showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Boelens, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, The Underdogs's Ed Palsma got a free kick in the 70th minute. The Underdogs's Riemer Fries was substituted for Frank de Boer. In the 86th minute Robin Boelens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willem-Jan Hollanders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Willem-Jan Hollanders came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by The Underdogs's Piearres Olalla. But to his dismay, Piearres Olalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 92nd minute Dolf Schoonderwoerd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willem-Jan Hollanders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The The Underdogs fans cheered their team off the field, for while Les Bistouquettes Bleues had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
