Seymour Coffman got a throw-in 6 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Omurtag Púrvulov. Blue avalanche were furious when Gigel Ştiubei was red carded, 9 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Blue avalanche:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Winthont FC:s goal. Jacobus Lubbers scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Slavey Dochevski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex de Rudder in the 16th minute of play forced Blue avalanche's goalkeeper Slavey Dochevski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 minutes Blue avalanche's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jacobus Lubbers who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Jacobus Lubbers almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Blue avalanche's Slavey Dochevski did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delyan Partinov got free with Dennis Beerthuis in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stanislav Búlgarov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Dennis Beerthuis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dennis Beerthuis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislav Búlgarov in the 29th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Mike Ijspol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winthont FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mike Ijspol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Slavey Dochevski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Omurtag Púrvulov struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Dennis Beerthuis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blue avalanche. In the 36th minute, Alex de Rudder made a precise shot to the right of Slavey Dochevski. Blue avalanche's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After 38 played minutes Winthont FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Norino. A collision led to Winthont FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Jacobus Lubbers hit a great ball. Omurtag Púrvulovs short, quick shot in the 48thth minute got Dennis Beerthuis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Blue avalanche players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Winthont FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stanislav Búlgarov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dennis Beerthuis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanislav Búlgarov, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Stanislav Búlgarov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alex de Rudder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Slavey Dochevski made a huge save. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Blue avalanche's goalkeeper Slavey Dochevski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Blue avalanche's goal looked a bit too open when Alex de Rudder came free, but Slavey Dochevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Winthont FC's Dennis Beerthuis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislav Búlgarov in the 77th minute of play. If Jacobus Lubbers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blue avalanche's Jonny Gaeta was substituted for Ronaldinho Gaúcho. When Blue avalanche's Omurtag Púrvulov in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Winthont FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislav Búlgarov in the 82nd minute of play forced Winthont FC's goalkeeper Dennis Beerthuis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Stanislav Búlgarov came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Blue avalanche fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stanislav Búlgarov couldn't finish the play. Jacobus Lubbers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Slavey Dochevski made a huge save. In the 89thth minute of the game Alex de Rudder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blue avalanche's Slavey Dochevski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Jacobus Lubbers fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Winthont FC's protests and gave Jacobus Lubbers a yellow card for diving instead. Jacobus Lubbers hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Omurtag Púrvulov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blue avalanche's supporters rose to their feet, but Omurtag Púrvulov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Beerthuis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacobus Lubbers was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Blue avalanche lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
