Shaun McLae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dragos Enicov having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, KFC Paal-Tervant's goal looked a bit too open when Gong Yan Bin came free, but Freddy Tilens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Klemens Huffschmid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dragos Enicov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klemens Huffschmid in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Gong Yan Bin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Freddy Tilens was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 42nd match minute, Ajax Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Cacciatore to maneuver through the defense. Dragos Enicov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 92nd minute, Ajax Academy's Gong Yan Bin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. The Ajax Academy players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
