Meindert Janus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tibor Surovec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Flashdynamica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jan Plocek was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Barcelona's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Bohuslav Chlubna managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 6 minutes into the match, Flashdynamica's goal looked a bit too open when Bohuslav Chlubna came free, but Meindert Janus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Plocek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meindert Janus having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Flashdynamica's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Plocek came free, but Meindert Janus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Meindert Janus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tibor Surovec in the 24th minute of play. Dezider Šindelka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Scott in the 25th minute of the match. After 27 minutes of play, FC Barcelona's Tibor Surovec made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Meindert Janus was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 33rd minute FC Barcelona were awarded a corner. Jan Plocek went to the cornerflag to take it. Meindert Janus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tibor Surovec went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 39 minutes into the game, Carel Kolman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flashdynamica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Barcelona the free kick. The supporters of FC Barcelona booed when Flashdynamica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavi Simons didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dwight Schrute to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, FC Barcelona's Andrej Karásek ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Meindert Janus. Meindert Janus yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Dwight Schrute took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dezider Šindelka. Dezider Šindelka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Gert Jan Lyesen kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Andrej Karásek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Meindert Janus made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Chico Pirok sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute, Tommie Meyer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan Plocek got free with Meindert Janus in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Flashdynamica's Meindert Janus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Flashdynamica from getting a goal against them. Chico Pirok's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Meindert Janus firmly grabbed it by the left post. Chico Pirok scored 2-4 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Meindert Janus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 91 minutes into the game, Chico Pirok recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Meindert Janus. Chico Pirok showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. Chico Pirok struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Meindert Janus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Barcelona. When the match was over FC Barcelona could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Flashdynamica throughout the match.
