If Isaias Matas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Michel Hendrickx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon María Quintana in the 38th minute of play. Aad Zoethout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Matas in the 40th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Isaias Matas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aad Zoethout was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Adriaan van Schaik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Olavarria FC's Catalino Rivarola managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Adriaan van Schaik in the 46 minute of the game.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaias Matas to make the kick off. Isaias Matas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aad Zoethout read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Olavarria FC's Michel Hendrickx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Olavarria FC from getting a goal against them. Olavarria FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nikola Milenković ran over to the corner to take the kick. FC Kirchroa's Nikola Milenković was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Michel Hendrickx in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Aad Zoethout took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ervigio Ojeda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dante Martinelli got free with Michel Hendrickx in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aad Zoethout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ervigio Ojeda in the 79th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Olavarria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavius Pantea came free, but Michel Hendrickx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavius Pantea in the 82nd minute of play forced Olavarria FC's goalkeeper Michel Hendrickx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Flavius Pantea made a precise shot to the right of Michel Hendrickx. Olavarria FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The Olavarria FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Kirchroa's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Kirchroa.
