In the 8th minute Jürgen Leu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Barovero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC Rägi getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Alekos Livas hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Chumo Palmero notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC Rägi's Zachariasz Moryl. Zachariasz Moryl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 14 minutes, Pylyp Vitvitskyi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Ruh Lviv and the FC Rägi players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Ruh Lviv's Pylyp Vitvitskyi got a free kick in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Rägi's zone, Myroslav Akymenko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zachariasz Moryl came out of the goal and Myroslav Akymenko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zachariasz Moryl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Myroslav Akymenko in the 19th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jürgen Leu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelo Barovero was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 27th minute Chumo Palmero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariasz Moryl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was Vyacheslav Androsenko who took care of the corner kick. 37 minutes into the game, FC Rägi's Ademar Rocha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelo Barovero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Illja Klochko hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute of the match Tassilo Kost shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelo Barovero showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jürgen Leu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

FC Rägi made a substitution. Daniel Hurschler replaced Timothy Ostermann. The wind increased when Chumo Palmero made the kick off in the second half. Fremont Schneider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Marcelo Barovero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Illja Klochko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zachariasz Moryl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chumo Palmero in the 93rd minute of the match. Marcelo Barovero came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Rägi's Andreas Weiand. But to his dismay, Andreas Weiand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
