Spectators: 195 (Terracing: 147, Seating: 45, VIP seats: 3) In the 2nd minute, Vergil Rupov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Football Club Zestafoni's goalkeeper Ignatiy Pilievi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 6 minutes into the game, Genk's Suat Kaya nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ignatiy Pilievi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 9th minute, Michel Hakimi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Genk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Football Club Zestafoni's goalkeeper Ignatiy Pilievi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner ended in Alfons Rijniers almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Football Club Zestafoni's Ignatiy Pilievi did a great save. When Genk's Vergil Rupov in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Football Club Zestafoni's goalie prevented a goal. After 22 played minutes Football Club Zestafoni got a freekick which was hit by Uta Sulaberidze. Football Club Zestafoni's Ignatiy Pilievi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vergil Rupov in the 23rd minute of play. The Genk fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Genk's Vergil Rupov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Genk's Vergil Rupov in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Football Club Zestafoni's goalie prevented a goal. Ni Wei Yang scored 1-6 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lenny Vorster, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vergil Rupov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Genk's Lenny Vorster got control of the ball when Anatoly Pilievi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Football Club Zestafoni's Anastasio Perutxo got a free kick in the 45th minute. Vergil Rupov took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ignatiy Pilievi. Ignatiy Pilievi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ni Wei Yang to strike the kick off in the second half. Vergil Rupov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Ignatiy Pilievi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Vergil Rupovs short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Ignatiy Pilievi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 56 played minutes Football Club Zestafoni got a freekick which was hit by Anatoly Pilievi. If Vergil Rupov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexander Klemensson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute Anatoly Pilievi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lenny Vorster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Vergil Rupov came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Genk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vergil Rupov couldn't finish the play. Ignatiy Pilievi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Klemensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 66 minutes Football Club Zestafoni's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alfons Rijniers who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Alfons Rijniers almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Football Club Zestafoni's Ignatiy Pilievi did a great save. After 70 minutes of play, Genk's Vergil Rupov made it 1-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ignatiy Pilievi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Genk's Albert Verdun was substituted for Alfons Rijniers. Ignatiy Pilievi was a little too slow when Vergil Rupov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 1-9. 77 minutes in the game, Vergil Rupov fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ignatiy Pilievi having to interfere. Vergil Rupov had several of the Football Club Zestafoni's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 83 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-11 score and a disappointed Ignatiy Pilievi as he didn't even see the shot coming. Tage Lööf kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 邵泉林 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Genk's Lenny Vorster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ni Wei Yang in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Anatoly Pilievi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Football Club Zestafoni's zone, Suat Kaya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignatiy Pilievi came out of the goal and Suat Kaya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ignatiy Pilievi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vergil Rupov's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Ignatiy Pilievi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vergil Rupov, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The supporters of Genk booed when Football Club Zestafoni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uta Sulaberidze didn't get a good kick on the ball. Genk played a much better game than Football Club Zestafoni and deserved their victory. The Football Club Zestafoni players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
