Steve De Wilde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre-Alexandre De Marrez, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. AFC Irocha's Damian Walkowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save AFC Irocha from getting a goal against them. When Lions United's Pablo Solari, in the 4th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Lions United. Lions United's Steve De Wilde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tibau Cornelis in the 6th minute of play. Pablo Solari received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Damian Walkowski came out and tried to block the shot, but Pablo Solari slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. Gao Cheng Yun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Walkowski having to interfere. In the 21st minute of the match AFC Irocha got a corner. Lions United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tibau Cornelis ran over to the corner to take the kick. Damian Walkowski was a little too slow when Pan Jian Yong got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-0. The corner went over the outstretched arms of AFC Irocha's goalie and right to Pan Jian Yong. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. AFC Irocha's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Damian Walkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Solari in the 39th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Tommas Hunaerts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pan Jian Yong in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damian Walkowski saved AFC Irocha from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Lions United's zone, Pierre-Alexandre De Marrez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Steve De Wilde came out of the goal and Pierre-Alexandre De Marrez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pan Jian Yong to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pablo Solari in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damian Walkowski saved AFC Irocha from getting behind. Damian Walkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gao Cheng Yun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 64 played minutes AFC Irocha got a freekick which was hit by Gigi Contra. AFC Irocha's Damian Walkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Solari in the 65th minute of play. Steve De Wilde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cao Shi Chang in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Solari in the 68th minute of play forced AFC Irocha's goalkeeper Damian Walkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Lions United getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Pablo Solari hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gao Cheng Yun in the 78th minute of play forced AFC Irocha's goalkeeper Damian Walkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steve De Wilde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cao Shi Chang, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Pan Jian Yong put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Damian Walkowski. Tommas Hunaerts kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After some careless play in the AFC Irocha defense, Pan Jian Yong kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damian Walkowski. The AFC Irocha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damian Walkowski should have stopped the shot. 88 minutes into the match, Lions United's goalkeeper Steve De Wilde had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cao Shi Chang. In the 92nd minute Tibau Cornelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steve De Wilde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th match minute, Lions United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Solari to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the AFC Irocha players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lions United.
