Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vadim Basmannikov started the match with the kick off. Felix Baker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Evgeniy Fomichev came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Voskresensk FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evgeniy Fomichev couldn't finish the play. Gijsbert Luikens made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Evgeniy Fomichev sent off a good shot on target. Gijsbert Luikens was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vadim Basmannikov showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Revenge's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Vadim Basmannikov 14 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Gijsbert Luikens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrey Arshavin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Andrey Arshavin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute Vadim Basmannikov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gijsbert Luikens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Voskresensk FC's Andrey Arshavin got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Voskresensk FC booed when Revenge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harold Zwarthoet didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Evgeniy Fomichev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Voskresensk FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When Revenge's Ab Bekker in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Voskresensk FC's goalie prevented a goal. Vadim Basmannikov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Gijsbert Luikens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vadim Basmannikov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gijsbert Luikens having to interfere. Revenge's Gijsbert Luikens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evgeniy Fomichev in the 41st minute of play. Igor Akinfeev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Rein Klap, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Revenge's zone, Artur Timoshin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gijsbert Luikens came out of the goal and Artur Timoshin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Revenge booed when Voskresensk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stepan Romm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evgeniy Fomichev was extremely unlucky when he, in the 48th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Vadim Basmannikov took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Gijsbert Luikens to make any attempt to save it.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ab Bekker to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Voskresensk FC's Igor Akinfeev got control of the ball when Ab Bekker tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gijsbert Luikens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vadim Basmannikov, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Gijsbert Luikens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vadim Basmannikov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Revenge's goal looked a bit too open when Evgeniy Fomichev came free, but Gijsbert Luikens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harold Zwarthoet kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. A collision led to Revenge getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Harold Zwarthoet hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Evgeniy Fomichev made a precise shot to the right of Gijsbert Luikens. Revenge's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. When Konstantin Lakhov came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Voskresensk FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Konstantin Lakhov couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes into the game, Voskresensk FC's Vladimir Safarov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gijsbert Luikens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Voskresensk FC made a substitution. Egor Avinov replaced Vladimir Safarov. Gijsbert Luikens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evgeniy Fomichev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pieter Korevaar kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Konstantin Lakhov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Voskresensk FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Konstantin Lakhov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Revenge's Ab Bekker got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Revenge's goalkeeper Gijsbert Luikens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 86 minutes of play, Voskresensk FC's Evgeniy Fomichev made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gijsbert Luikens was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrey Arshavin in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gijsbert Luikens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Evgeniy Fomichev struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Gijsbert Luikens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Voskresensk FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harold Zwarthoet during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Revenge's Harold Zwarthoet got a free kick in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Voskresensk FC's Roman Doronin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 97th minute Konstantin Lakhov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gijsbert Luikens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Voskresensk FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
