Andoni Zubizarreta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hong Feng Jian's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hong Feng Jian in the 19th minute of play forced GARGOYLES's goalkeeper Andoni Zubizarreta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lilko Timov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Alvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Hong Feng Jian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andoni Zubizarreta having to interfere. It was Naycho Dotzov who took care of the corner kick. Slavyan Mechkuev made a great header on GARGOYLES's corner, it was just that VN SOKOLI-VARNA's Lilko Timov managed to reach the ball for a save. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ferran Torres to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to VN SOKOLI-VARNA getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Slavyan Mechkuev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Lilko Timov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the GARGOYLES players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
