Exequiel Zeballos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Kostja Vertot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stamen Kapitanov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armando Vogrinčič's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. After 18 minutes Fajteri's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Geraldo Souza who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Dobri Zhablenski advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-1 in the 19th minute. Štefan Saje hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute Exequiel Zeballos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostja Vertot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Armando Vogrinčič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Stamen Kapitanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Vogrinčič, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute Armando Vogrinčič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stamen Kapitanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Exequiel Zeballos might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kostja Vertot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Exequiel Zeballos ran back to his position shaking his head. Kostja Vertot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Exequiel Zeballos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stamen Kapitanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Vogrinčič in the 36th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Vogrinčič in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stamen Kapitanov saved FC Builder Sofia from getting behind. 42 minutes into the match, Fajteri's goal looked a bit too open when Exequiel Zeballos came free, but Kostja Vertot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Exequiel Zeballos in the 44th minute of play forced Fajteri's goalkeeper Kostja Vertot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armando Vogrinčič made a kick off. If Armando Vogrinčič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Exequiel Zeballos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostja Vertot having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Milisav Kovše was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fajteri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Builder Sofia the free kick. The supporters of FC Builder Sofia booed when Fajteri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milisav Kovše didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Exequiel Zeballos got free with Kostja Vertot in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dobri Zhablenski kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Exequiel Zeballos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Kostja Vertot made a huge save. FC Builder Sofia made a substitution. Yakup Denizcan replaced Tomislav Pandov. In the 69th minute of the match FC Builder Sofia got a corner. Fajteri's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Geraldo Souza ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 72nd match minute, Fajteri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ersan Šokčević to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Milisav Kovše in the 76th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Builder Sofia's Murilo Pirani. Fajteri's Kostja Vertot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Fajteri from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Builder Sofia's Yulian Ivanov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kostja Vertot. That made the score 0-2 after 80 minutes of play. A sloppy throw-in by Thomas Filipović in the 83rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Builder Sofia's Yakup Denizcan. FC Builder Sofia's Murilo Pirani quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Apolonije Podobnik, made in the 85th minute of the game. In the 87th minute Yakup Denizcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostja Vertot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kostja Vertot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sten Askestät, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Builder Sofia's Stamen Kapitanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Hostar in the 91st minute of play. The FC Builder Sofia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Builder Sofia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
