An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Luna in the 11th minute of play forced Fire Devils's goalkeeper Odysseus Lindenmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind THE ROKERY PIMKIS's goalkeeper Kiran Tomasini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 17 minutes into the game, THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Jorge Luna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Odysseus Lindenmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 22 minutes into the game, Jorge Luna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Odysseus Lindenmann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Kiran Tomasini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Arne Bengtsson in the 26th minute of play. Odysseus Lindenmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Luna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Jorge Luna in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fire Devils's goalie prevented a goal. In the 34th minute Jorge Luna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odysseus Lindenmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Morientes hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, Fire Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Luna came free, but Odysseus Lindenmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kiran Tomasini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmílson Gaúcho went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Kiran Tomasini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Arne Bengtsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Falko Domini to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Jorge Luna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Odysseus Lindenmann was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Juan Corredor was substituted for Fernando Morientes. In the 73rd minute, Neil Dussling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kiran Tomasini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Falko Domini in the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Fire Devils were awarded a corner. Sven-Arne Bengtsson went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Fire Devils's corner Sven-Arne Bengtsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kiran Tomasini quite easily take care of the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Fire Devils's goalkeeper Odysseus Lindenmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Luna. Yuri Vilaverde's late challenge caught a THE ROKERY PIMKIS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
