Through an outstanding action, after 2 minutes, Christof Deroek successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Christof Deroek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilário Bento in the 3rd minute of play. Christof Deroek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Youri Van Der Talen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute, Johnathan Bowden left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Selebi-Phikwe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Thanks to some nice moves Larry Hallam could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Christof Deroek however easily saved by the left post. In the 9th minute of the match, Larry Hallam got a very nice opportunity to score, but Christof Deroek was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Johnathan Bowden put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of A.J. 关平. Vivant's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Youri Van Der Talen in the 17th minute. Vivant's Firmin Mendialdura was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Christof Deroek in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 20thth minute of the game Johnathan Bowden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vivant's A.J. 关平 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Youri Van Der Talen got free with Christof Deroek in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the match, Selebi-Phikwe's Johnathan Bowden sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that A.J. 关平 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vivant's A.J. 关平 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abid Bubalo in the 28th minute of play. Marin Lipets could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Christof Deroek made a huge save. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vivant's goalkeeper A.J. 关平, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A.J. 关平 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johnathan Bowden went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 41 minutes into the match, Vivant's goal looked a bit too open when Abid Bubalo came free, but A.J. 关平 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A.J. 关平 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abid Bubalo went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Christof Deroek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilário Bento in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Johnathan Bowden stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Selebi-Phikwe's Johnathan Bowden made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. A.J. 关平 was left in no man's land by his defense there! Johnathan Bowden succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 59th playminute. Selebi-Phikwe made a substitution. Wincent Kanczuszewski replaced Erik Van Buyten. In the 63rd minute Larry Hallam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christof Deroek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christof Deroek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilário Bento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 81 minutes, Hilário Bento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vivant's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hilário Bento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Johnathan Bowden could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but A.J. 关平 made a huge save. In the 89th minute Hilário Bento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christof Deroek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hilário Bento scored 1-6 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christof Deroek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Selebi-Phikwe players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
