An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnathan Bowden in the 16th minute of play forced Fox Hunting Squad's goalkeeper Méndez Marfa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fox Hunting Squad's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Abid Bubalo scored to the left of an out of position Méndez Marfa, making the score, 2-0. In the 24th minute Dries De Raeijmaeker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christof Deroek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Victor Lundqvist made a precise shot to the right of Méndez Marfa. Fox Hunting Squad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Méndez Marfa made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Victor Lundqvist sent off a good shot on target. Victor Lundqvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Méndez Marfa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Christof Deroek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nic Adams in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute Dries De Raeijmaeker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christof Deroek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fox Hunting Squad were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Selebi-Phikwe's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nic Adams took the corner. In the 36th minute, Ralf Bourgeois hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Fox Hunting Squad's zone, Emanuel Brites stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Méndez Marfa came out of the goal and Emanuel Brites tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Méndez Marfa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnathan Bowden, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. With a little luck, Fox Hunting Squad's Méndez Marfa got control of the ball when Victor Lundqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nic Adams made a kick off. Selebi-Phikwe's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emanuel Brites in the 51st minute. Méndez Marfa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abid Bubalo in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute Selebi-Phikwe were awarded a corner. Emanuel Brites went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Emanuel Brites almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fox Hunting Squad's Méndez Marfa did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abid Bubalo in the 67th minute of play forced Fox Hunting Squad's goalkeeper Méndez Marfa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnathan Bowden in the 68th minute of play forced Fox Hunting Squad's goalkeeper Méndez Marfa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Selebi-Phikwe's Johnathan Bowden in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Fox Hunting Squad booed when Selebi-Phikwe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Lundqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Méndez Marfa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Lundqvist in the 78th minute of the match. When Fox Hunting Squad's Nic Adams in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Selebi-Phikwe's goalie prevented a goal. Méndez Marfa came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Selebi-Phikwe's Johnathan Bowden. But to his dismay, Johnathan Bowden quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Fox Hunting Squad's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
