If Johnathan Bowden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 11 minutes into the match, FC Kolos's goal looked a bit too open when Johnathan Bowden came free, but Geovani Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christof Deroek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boleslaw Grajewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geovani Baiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnathan Bowden, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Johnathan Bowden might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geovani Baiano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johnathan Bowden ran back to his position shaking his head. Selebi-Phikwe's Wincent Kanczuszewski was substituted for Erik Van Buyten. Selebi-Phikwe's Louis-Philippe Pelsmaeckers was substituted for Marc Thidén.
