In the 3rd minute Larry Hallam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Méndez Marfa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Vivant's goal looked a bit too open when Nic Adams came free, but A.J. 关平 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fox Hunting Squad's Méndez Marfa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Fox Hunting Squad from getting a goal against them. In the 8th minute, Larry Hallam ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Méndez Marfa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Fox Hunting Squad's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Marin Lipets scored to the left of an out of position Méndez Marfa, making the score, 2-0. Méndez Marfa came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Vivant's Marin Lipets. But to his dismay, Marin Lipets quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Yoachim Rijniers hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Marin Lipets could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Méndez Marfa made a huge save. A.J. 关平 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nic Adams, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Fox Hunting Squad's goal looked a bit too open when Marin Lipets came free, but Méndez Marfa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Méndez Marfa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marin Lipets in the 31st minute. Marin Lipets's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Méndez Marfa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Méndez Marfa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fox Hunting Squad's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Youri Van Der Talen was slow to take the kick. During this time Vivant's players had a chance to rest. A.J. 关平 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dries De Raeijmaeker, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 43rd minute Maicon van Beek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but A.J. 关平 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute of the match Fox Hunting Squad got a corner. Vivant's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nic Adams ran over to the corner to take the kick. Méndez Marfa made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Larry Hallam sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Larry Hallam made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Larry Hallam's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Méndez Marfa was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Méndez Marfa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilário Bento in the 53rd minute of the match. Méndez Marfa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilário Bento, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 55th minute, Hilário Bento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vivant fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Méndez Marfa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Lipets in the 57th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Marin Lipets notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Fox Hunting Squad's Méndez Marfa. Méndez Marfa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 61 minutes into the match, Vivant's Marin Lipets sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Méndez Marfa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fox Hunting Squad's Méndez Marfa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Lipets in the 62nd minute of play. Méndez Marfa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilário Bento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A.J. 关平 made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Nic Adams sent off a good shot on target. In the 71stth minute of the game Larry Hallam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fox Hunting Squad's Méndez Marfa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Vivant booed when Fox Hunting Squad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Theys didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilário Bento in the 72nd minute of play forced Fox Hunting Squad's goalkeeper Méndez Marfa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Larry Hallam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Méndez Marfa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fox Hunting Squad's Méndez Marfa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Larry Hallam in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Fox Hunting Squad's goalkeeper Méndez Marfa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Méndez Marfa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Lipets, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Méndez Marfa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilário Bento in the 84th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Fox Hunting Squad's zone, Hilário Bento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Méndez Marfa came out of the goal and Hilário Bento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maicon van Beek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. A.J. 关平 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gösta Åkesson during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Fox Hunting Squad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gösta Åkesson to maneuver through the defense. Hilário Bento scored 7-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Méndez Marfa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vivant had won after a very even match.
