Karl Jemella was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Betão Camargo came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the FC Unterrudling fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Betão Camargo couldn't finish the play. 24 minutes into the match, FC Unterrudling's Federico Girotti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edvin van der Saar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 30th minute Federico Girotti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin van der Saar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
