Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Barnaba Pilsudski took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstanty Dzierwa in the 4th minute of play forced FC Gullegem's goalkeeper Axell Verduin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Barnaba Pilsudski fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kornél Hajdú, passed just outside the right post. Barnaba Pilsudski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kornél Hajdú having to interfere. Axell Verduin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from József Sallói in the 14th minute of the match. Szentgotthárd's Kornél Hajdú proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Szentgotthárd from getting a goal against them. Barnaba Pilsudski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Axell Verduin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from József Sallói in the 21st minute of play. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Szentgotthárd's goalkeeper Kornél Hajdú, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pierre-Paul Callaerts kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. FC Gullegem's Axell Verduin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by József Sallói in the 27th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Barnaba Pilsudski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 30 minutes into the match, Szentgotthárd's goalkeeper Kornél Hajdú had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barnaba Pilsudski. Axell Verduin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstanty Dzierwa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Konstanty Dzierwa notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Gullegem's Axell Verduin. Axell Verduin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barnaba Pilsudski in the 35th minute of play forced Szentgotthárd's goalkeeper Kornél Hajdú to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Szentgotthárd's Kornél Hajdú played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnaba Pilsudski in the 37th minute of play. Kornél Hajdú made an important save on a dangerous shot by Barnaba Pilsudski in the 40th minute. Szentgotthárd's Kornél Hajdú proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Szentgotthárd from getting a goal against them. Kornél Hajdú made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Barnaba Pilsudski sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Szentgotthárd's Kornél Hajdú played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnaba Pilsudski in the 53rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when József Sallói got free with Axell Verduin in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Gullegem made a substitution. Yanick De Ketelaere replaced Mats Vanooteghem. FC Gullegem's attentive Jörgen Norberg managed to snatch the ball when Gábor Matolcsy made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. FC Gullegem's Barnaba Pilsudski got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Bálint Benedek got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Axell Verduin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gilbert Amsler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kornél Hajdú came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Gullegem's Barnaba Pilsudski. But to his dismay, Barnaba Pilsudski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barnaba Pilsudski in the 70th minute of play forced Szentgotthárd's goalkeeper Kornél Hajdú to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Barnaba Pilsudski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Axell Verduin made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when József Sallói sent off a good shot on target. FC Gullegem's Cederic De Vadder was substituted for Barnaba Pilsudski. 84 minutes into the match, Szentgotthárd's goal looked a bit too open when Cederic De Vadder came free, but Kornél Hajdú reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kornél Hajdú stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cederic De Vadder's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Szentgotthárd players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
