FC Ouagadougou National's Rene Vereijt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyryl Dziurowicz in the 14th minute of play. William Westelinx's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Péter Kun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 25th minute Cyryl Dziurowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Vereijt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 minutes of play, FC Ouagadougou National's William Westelinx made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. András Törőcsik was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Bayern München FC. booed when FC Ouagadougou National was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sean Westelinx didn't get a good kick on the ball. Péter Kun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Westelinx, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 59 minutes into the match, Bayern München FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when William Westelinx came free, but Péter Kun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Ouagadougou National's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team.
