The supporters of De krokante kroketjes booed when Valencia CF Mindszent was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jurgen Goris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gábor Joó in the 7th minute of the match. Nico Everts kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 24th match minute, Valencia CF Mindszent was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gáspár Rigó to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Gu Guang Cheng left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De krokante kroketjes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. De krokante kroketjes made a substitution. Octave De Meesemaeckere replaced Nico Everts. Gu Guang Cheng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. De krokante kroketjes's Fabián You was substituted for Wesley Richard. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gábor Joó to strike the kick off in the second half. Maurício Monsanto kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Valencia CF Mindszent's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Vibjörnsson came free, but Rene Higuita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 58 played minutes Valencia CF Mindszent got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Carlo. With a little luck, De krokante kroketjes's Jurgen Goris got control of the ball when Gábor Joó tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Valencia CF Mindszent's zone, Stasio Burdzel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rene Higuita came out of the goal and Stasio Burdzel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd minute, Stasio Burdzel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stasio Burdzel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rene Higuita having to make a save. Rene Higuita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stasio Burdzel, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saltuk Peykan in the 76th minute of play forced De krokante kroketjes's goalkeeper Jurgen Goris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stasio Burdzel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rene Higuita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Stasio Burdzel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rene Higuita was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. After 98 minutes of play, De krokante kroketjes's Stasio Burdzel made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rene Higuita was left in no man's land by his defense there! De krokante kroketjes were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
