The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of FC Sternschnuppe:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mübariz Team:s goal. The supporters of Mübariz Team booed when FC Sternschnuppe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Guerreiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 7 minutes, Pervin Äkbärov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mübariz Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pervin Äkbärov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 8 played minutes FC Sternschnuppe got a freekick which was hit by Anto Gren. Lucas Demirci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Äjdärxan Cümşüdov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mübariz Team's Äjdärxan Cümşüdov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anto Gren in the 13th minute of play. Mentor Auderset showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şakir Adişirinov, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. A collision led to FC Sternschnuppe getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Julio O'Connell hit a great ball. Mentor Auderset made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şakir Adişirinov in the 23rd minute of play. Julio O'Connell hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute Şakir Adişirinov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mentor Auderset saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Mübariz Team getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Hikmät Balamämmädov hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the game, Chrstoph Röckle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Äjdärxan Cümşüdov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Sternschnuppe's Mentor Auderset played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pervin Äkbärov in the 36th minute of play. Mentor Auderset stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Şakir Adişirinov's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. A collision led to FC Sternschnuppe getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Lorenzo Guerreiro hit a great ball. Vüsal Äsgärov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pervin Äkbärovs short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Mentor Auderset to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Şakir Adişirinov was the one to do the kick off. Şakir Adişirinov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 59 minutes, Şakir Adişirinov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mübariz Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şakir Adişirinov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The attack was good, but when Şakir Adişirinov in the 66th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Pervin Äkbärov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Julio O'Connell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mentor Auderset showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şakir Adişirinov in the 74th minute of the match. When Lorenzo Guerreiro fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Sternschnuppe's protests and gave Lorenzo Guerreiro a yellow card for diving instead. After 78 minutes, Chrstoph Röckle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Sternschnuppe and the Mübariz Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. Chrstoph Röckle kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Mübariz Team's Äjdärxan Cümşüdov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernhard Kathan in the 84th minute of play. Mübariz Team's Äjdärxan Cümşüdov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Mübariz Team from getting a goal against them. 87 minutes into the match, FC Sternschnuppe's goal looked a bit too open when Pervin Äkbärov came free, but Mentor Auderset reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mentor Auderset showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şakir Adişirinov, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Mentor Auderset made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pervin Äkbärov in the 91st minute of play. FC Sternschnuppe's Mentor Auderset played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pervin Äkbärov in the 93rd minute of play. The FC Sternschnuppe players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
