Çağdaş Yuvakuran made a great header on Poli Timisoara's corner, it was just that Grandi Lupi's Alfonz Kállai managed to reach the ball for a save. Grandi Lupi's Alfonz Kállai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Grandi Lupi from getting a goal against them. Charly Alberti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Poli Timisoara's Ovidiu Adrian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charly Alberti in the 41st minute of play. Ovidiu Adrian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charly Alberti, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After 44 played minutes Grandi Lupi got a freekick which was hit by Sergiu Bejenaru. Çağdaş Yuvakuran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Alfonz Kállai made a huge save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Charly Alberti to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Mazuste Flores dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ovidiu Adrian, 0-2. Poli Timisoara's Ovidiu Adrian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charly Alberti in the 62nd minute of play. Grandi Lupi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frank Leoni in the 64th minute. Grandi Lupi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poli Timisoara the free kick. After a rather tough play, Grandi Lupi's Marjan Chaban got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Grandi Lupi had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
