With a left leg Maurice Buttliger saved Hemmersbacher SV from getting behind. 6 minutes into the game, Oskar Brandenberger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hemmersbacher SV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FFC Merainies 03 the free kick. After 6 played minutes Hemmersbacher SV got a freekick which was hit by Oskar Brandenberger. Maurice Buttliger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Komen Schotte, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 9 minutes of play, FFC Merainies 03's Komen Schotte made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurice Buttliger was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maurice Buttliger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Komen Schotte, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Maurice Buttliger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Komen Schotte in the 17th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Komen Schotte notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Hemmersbacher SV's Maurice Buttliger. Maurice Buttliger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 41stth minute of the game Komen Schotte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hemmersbacher SV's Maurice Buttliger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Scott Herz was the one to do the kick off. When FFC Merainies 03's Komen Schotte in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. FFC Merainies 03's Gertjan Engbers was substituted for Jörgen Kjellqvist. In the 69th minute Pepijn Hummel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurice Buttliger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Hemmersbacher SV's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Craandijk came free, but Maurice Buttliger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Komen Schotte received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Job Gasteren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Hemmersbacher SV's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Craandijk came free, but Maurice Buttliger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Hemmersbacher SV defense, Job Gasteren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurice Buttliger. The Hemmersbacher SV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurice Buttliger should have stopped the shot.
