The supporters of Sc Ajax Hirtenberg booed when Pénzügyőr SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertil Albäck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugeniusz Poniewaz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Vencel Mezei when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Berat Haliç got free with Vencel Mezei in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vencel Mezei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henk Horneber in the 19th minute of the match. Bertil Albäck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without J.J J.J. having to make a save. Vencel Mezei made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Berat Haliç sent off a good shot on target. Pénzügyőr SE's Vencel Mezei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berat Haliç in the 25th minute of play. Bertil Albäck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without J.J J.J. having to make a save. Pénzügyőr SE's Vencel Mezei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Pénzügyőr SE from getting a goal against them. Bertil Albäck took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised J.J J.J.. J.J J.J. dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 35 played minutes Pénzügyőr SE got a freekick which was hit by Erben Kiewit. With a little luck, Pénzügyőr SE's Vencel Mezei got control of the ball when Berat Haliç tried to sneak it across the goal line. J.J J.J. showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertil Albäck in the 37th minute of the match. Pénzügyőr SE's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Anselmo Bakar scored to the left of an out of position Vencel Mezei, making the score, 2-1. Vencel Mezei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Bakar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zhivko Tekerlekov made in the 46th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Pénzügyőr SE's Márton Soós. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertil Albäck in the 47th minute of play forced Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's goalkeeper J.J J.J. to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eugeniusz Poniewaz was the one to do the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Bertil Albäck came free, but J.J J.J. reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anselmo Bakar in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vencel Mezei saved Pénzügyőr SE from getting behind. Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's J.J J.J. played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertil Albäck in the 62nd minute of play. Andre Ziffzer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vencel Mezei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Vencel Mezei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henk Horneber, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. A throw-in in the 71st minute of the game was made by Enzo Albanesi with Timo Pezel as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andre Ziffzer in the 75th minute. Zhivko Tekerlekov kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Berat Haliç suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Róbert Sárosi charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Róbert Sárosi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sc Ajax Hirtenberg made a substitution. Rolf Demski replaced Berat Haliç. Pénzügyőr SE's Vencel Mezei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andre Ziffzer in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Pénzügyőr SE's goal looked a bit too open when Eugeniusz Poniewaz came free, but Vencel Mezei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Sc Ajax Hirtenberg were the better team. Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
