Spectators: 205 (Terracing: 154, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) Unai Sócrates did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Adam Hrdina 3 minutes into the match. 5 minutes into the game, Fauna Utd's Unai Sócrates nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adam Hrdina made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. AFK Petržalka's Peter Pekarík was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Radamel Hendrickx in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, AFK Petržalka's Adam Hrdina got control of the ball when Unai Sócrates tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 18 minutes, Michal Hudák managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFK Petržalka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michal Hudák was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yuri Portugal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Adam Hrdina made a huge save. Adam Hrdina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Portugal in the 27th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Unai Sócrates got free with Adam Hrdina in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adam Hrdina made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Unai Sócrates sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th minute, Unai Sócrates ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adam Hrdina was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 38 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's goal looked a bit too open when Yuri Portugal came free, but Adam Hrdina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baran Gayret scored 3-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Radamel Hendrickx, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yuri Portugal was the one to do the kick off. 61 minutes into the game, Yuri Portugal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Adam Hrdina was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adam Hrdina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuri Portugal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute of the match AFK Petržalka got a corner. Fauna Utd's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Peter Pekarík ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Fauna Utd booed when AFK Petržalka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baran Gayret didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Portugal in the 71st minute of play forced AFK Petržalka's goalkeeper Adam Hrdina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pieterjan Anteunis kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Unai Sócrates left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fauna Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. AFK Petržalka's Adam Hrdina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Portugal in the 82nd minute of play. After 84 played minutes AFK Petržalka got a freekick which was hit by Nikola Krstović. In the 87th minute, Yuri Portugal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fauna Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. AFK Petržalka's Adam Hrdina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Unai Sócrates in the 89th minute of play. Adam Hrdina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Unai Sócrates in the 91st minute of the match. Radamel Hendrickx didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nikola Krstović went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-3 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fauna Utd fully deserved thier win.
