In the 13th minute Slawomir Brysz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jelte Zevenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Koper's Wasyl Okropny got a free kick in the 15th minute. FC Koper's Cveto Novinec proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save FC Koper from getting a goal against them. Eren Vezir's late challenge caught a Beetje Moe Re-United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eren Vezir helped the player get up and apologised. Beetje Moe Re-United's Wilfredo Nesto was substituted for Arturo Porreca.
