In the 20th minute Mariusz Motyl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wladyslaw Hajto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luciano Pires during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Klement Glembin might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wladyslaw Hajto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 27th minute, Mikolaj Filanowski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wladyslaw Hajto. The goal made the score 2-0. 31 minutes into the match, Afrykańskie Świnie's goal looked a bit too open when Tomasz Zalipski came free, but Wladyslaw Hajto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Cordareo Domingo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lookman Loody was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 45th minute, Zbigniew Chazen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Lucjan Murdza fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Afrykańskie Świnie's protests and gave Lucjan Murdza a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Afrykańskie Świnie getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Wladyslaw Hajto came out of the goal and Tomasz Zalipski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariusz Motyl to make the kick off. If Tomasz Zalipski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wladyslaw Hajto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogdan Piatek, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 94 played minutes, Afrykańskie Świnie's Fernando Rogel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lookman Loody came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Afrykańskie Świnie reached it. The Afrykańskie Świnie supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Afrykańskie Świnie would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
