When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Radomil Bielatowicz took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Olaf Pietras to make any attempt to save it. Niek Wander kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 16thth minute. Though ot was a great shot FC Zarzyk's keeper Olaf Pietras was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Niek Wander managed to get in a good position for a shot. MZKS Sharks Gdynia's supporters rose to their feet, but Niek Wander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olaf Pietras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute Abdi Saygın Ergener shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Witalis Chmielecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led MZKS Sharks Gdynia's Artur Rakiewicz to fire away a dangerous shot which Olaf Pietras despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Witalis Chmielecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miromir Kaider in the 30th minute of the match. FC Zarzyk's players were relieved. 33 minutes into the match, MZKS Sharks Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Stanislaw Lewicki came free, but Witalis Chmielecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nils Pauwels during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 35 minutes into the game, one of FC Zarzyk:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 37th minute, but Olaf Pietras got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving FC Zarzyk hanging dry this time. Niek Wander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Olaf Pietras made a huge save. In the 45th minute of the match, Niek Wander got a very nice opportunity to score, but Olaf Pietras was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Niek Wander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olaf Pietras read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Güntekin Enginer made a great header on MZKS Sharks Gdynia's corner, it was just that FC Zarzyk's Olaf Pietras managed to reach the ball for a save. Olaf Pietras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niek Wander in the 54th minute of the match. Olaf Pietras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Güntekin Enginer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MZKS Sharks Gdynia's Gao Gang was substituted for Anthony Lucentini. In the 80th minute, Niek Wander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MZKS Sharks Gdynia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Remigiusz Cempa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olaf Pietras having to interfere. Niek Wander took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olaf Pietras. Olaf Pietras dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MZKS Sharks Gdynia fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Zarzyk had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
