But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timo Werner couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Przemysl's Zygmunt Zacharczyk got a free kick in the 20th minute. FC Viper's Ignacy Bierfass played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tymoteusz Wodaszak in the 22nd minute of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when FC Viper's Adam Healy in the 23rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Jeffry Latuperisa was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Przemysl through an amazing save. After 27 played minutes FC Viper got a freekick which was hit by Zula Latkiewicz. 28 minutes into the game, Timo Werner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ignacy Bierfass was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wojciech Kluska's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jeffry Latuperisa firmly grabbed it by the left post. 33 minutes into the match, FC Viper's goal looked a bit too open when Timo Werner came free, but Ignacy Bierfass reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
