Augusto Lazcano charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augusto Lazcano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sune Rudberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maarten De Malier in the 7th minute of play. Wieslaw Dec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boleslaw Dres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Yolo's goal looked a bit too open when Ari Hakanpää came free, but Wieslaw Dec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 18 minutes into the match, Stal Sanok's goal looked a bit too open when Cristinel Iurea came free, but Sune Rudberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yolo's Wieslaw Dec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cihat Cevval in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Iurea in the 27th minute of play forced Stal Sanok's goalkeeper Sune Rudberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sune Rudberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristinel Iurea in the 29th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Yolo's Wawrzyniec Kissel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sune Rudberg. Sune Rudberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 40 minutes into the match, Boleslaw Dres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wieslaw Dec. Yolo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boleslaw Dres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With an all-out effort, Yolo's Sune Rudberg threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wawrzyniec Kissel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Wieslaw Dec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ari Hakanpää, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maarten De Malier to strike the kick off in the second half. Sune Rudberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wawrzyniec Kissel in the 54th minute of play. Sune Rudberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wawrzyniec Kissel in the 55th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Wawrzyniec Kissel notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Stal Sanok's Sune Rudberg. Sune Rudberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lin Ang hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Stal Sanok's Nicu Nicuşor got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 67th minute André Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sune Rudberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sune Rudberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Silva in the 67th minute of play. Milosz Lichniak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Sune Rudberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wawrzyniec Kissel in the 74th minute of play forced Stal Sanok's goalkeeper Sune Rudberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sune Rudberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wawrzyniec Kissel, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 83 minutes into the game, Yolo's Maarten De Malier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sune Rudberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 88 minutes into the match, Stal Sanok's goal looked a bit too open when Cristinel Iurea came free, but Sune Rudberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute Flemming Karloby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sune Rudberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Maarten De Malier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sune Rudberg.
