The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Stasio Siekierski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ignacy Wiatrak hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Arkadiusz Motyl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hieronim Huk was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Przemyslaw Okopny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sad Keep having to interfere. If Grzegorz Kalemba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stano Stanov might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hieronim Huk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stano Stanov ran back to his position shaking his head. Red Army's Hieronim Huk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damazy Zacharek in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Yelonki booed when Red Army was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedykt Majewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 29th play minutes Arkadiusz Motyl shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Hieronim Huk and just under the crossbar into goal. Sad Keep took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomil Smolarek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Stano Stanov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hieronim Huk was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After the first half Yelonki were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arkadiusz Motyl to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Yelonki getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Arkadiusz Motyl hit a great ball. With his leg Hieronim Huk managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Yelonki's Stano Stanov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Arkadiusz Motyl did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Hieronim Huk 58 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Piotr Pleban had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sad Keep. Yelonki's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Piotr Pleban was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Arkadiusz Motyl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hieronim Huk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damazy Zacharek in the 72nd minute. In the 72ndth minute of the game Arkadiusz Motyl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Red Army's Hieronim Huk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arkadiusz Motyl hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Hieronim Huk was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Arkadiusz Motyl capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arkadiusz Motyl really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. In the 80th minute, Przemyslaw Okopny ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sad Keep was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6. Red Army's Hieronim Huk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Red Army from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute, Benedykt Majewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arkadiusz Motyl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hieronim Huk having to interfere. Grzegorz Kalemba succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-7 in the 89th playminute. Stano Stanov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Hieronim Huk made a huge save. Yelonki's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
