The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Anzhelo Miryanov charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Arne De Munck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stoyne Mandzhukov in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Johannes Weijnandts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Gonzo Goal's goal looked a bit too open when Janes Verhoeven came free, but Toshko Moldovanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toshko Moldovanov came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Suikerklontjes's Janes Verhoeven. But to his dismay, Janes Verhoeven quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Toshko Moldovanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Weijnandts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arne De Munck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avgustin Pekin in the 31st minute of play. Brend De Block sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toshko Moldovanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Weijnandts in the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Johannes Weijnandts made a precise shot to the right of Toshko Moldovanov. Gonzo Goal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Suikerklontjes's Janes Verhoeven got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Janes Verhoeven reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Toshko Moldovanov. The goal made the score 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Avgustin Pekin was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Gonzo Goal getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Radomir Kostov hit a great ball. Manuel Vercasteren scored 6-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Toshko Moldovanov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gonzo Goal's Toshko Moldovanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Weijnandts in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gonzo Goal's goalkeeper Toshko Moldovanov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Suikerklontjes's Cesar De Meyer got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teo Slabbaert hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Gonzo Goal's Nikifor Karpuzov got a free kick in the 65th minute. The supporters of Suikerklontjes booed when Gonzo Goal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stoyne Mandzhukov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Suikerklontjes's Janes Verhoeven got a free kick in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avgustin Pekin in the 69th minute of play forced Suikerklontjes's goalkeeper Arne De Munck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teo Slabbaert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johannes Weijnandts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toshko Moldovanov having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johannes Weijnandts in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Toshko Moldovanov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Gonzo Goal getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Stoil Daalov hit a great ball. Janes Verhoeven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toshko Moldovanov having to interfere. After 92 minutes, Yanislav Moratzaliev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gonzo Goal and the Suikerklontjes players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Gonzo Goal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yanislav Moratzaliev to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Suikerklontjes had played much better football throughout.
