With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johannes Weijnandts in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anzhelo Gerushin saved ЦСКА from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Johannes Weijnandts put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Anzhelo Gerushin. After some careless play in the Suikerklontjes defense, Lyuboslav Popinski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arne De Munck. The Suikerklontjes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arne De Munck should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, ЦСКА's Anzhelo Gerushin got control of the ball when Johannes Weijnandts tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anzhelo Gerushin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johannes Weijnandts in the 20th minute. If Belcho Hlebarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Suikerklontjes's Jean-Louis Vereyt couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 26th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for ЦСКА. Suikerklontjes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jean-Louis Vereyt in the 31st minute. Arne De Munck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belcho Hlebarov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 39 minutes, Belcho Hlebarov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ЦСКА's supporters crossed their fingers, but Belcho Hlebarov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 42 minutes of play, Suikerklontjes's Johannes Weijnandts made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anzhelo Gerushin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Johannes Weijnandts could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Anzhelo Gerushin made a huge save. Anzhelo Gerushin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janes Verhoeven in the 46th minute of the match.

Belcho Hlebarov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Arne De Munck made a huge save. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Johannes Weijnandts sped through ЦСКА's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anzhelo Gerushin. Anzhelo Gerushin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Weijnandts in the 57th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Belcho Hlebarov took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Arne De Munck to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to ЦСКА getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Gergin Shtúrbov hit a great ball. If Johannes Weijnandts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lyuboslav Popinski struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Arne De Munck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ЦСКА. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belcho Hlebarov in the 83rd minute of play forced Suikerklontjes's goalkeeper Arne De Munck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 84 played minutes ЦСКА got a freekick which was hit by Belcho Hlebarov. Belcho Hlebarov took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arne De Munck. Arne De Munck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Belcho Hlebarov in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arne De Munck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
