After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Ganyo Dudumov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miguel Van Mechelen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yoan Hamamdzhiev came out and tried to block the shot, but Miguel Van Mechelen slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 32nd minute. Gruyo Gyorchev was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 38 minutes into the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Darin Kanchev made a kick off. In the 63rd match minute, YR Mechelen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andries Mangelschot to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Van Mechelen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yoan Hamamdzhiev having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Darin Kanchev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abraham Van Linthoud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yoan Hamamdzhiev came out of the goal and Andries Mangelschot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th match minute, ДА ЖИВЕЕ ПОБЕДАТА was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ganyo Dudumov to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the YR Mechelen players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
