The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lucjan Janiczek lost his temper 5 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. ASC Amsterdam's Mazhar Uğurata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gáspár Czibor in the 6th minute of play. Dinamo Pécs FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gáspár Czibor in the 15th minute. Conrado Romano made a great header on Dinamo Pécs FC's corner, it was just that ASC Amsterdam's Mazhar Uğurata managed to reach the ball for a save. 17 minutes into the match, ASC Amsterdam's goal looked a bit too open when Gafur Salim came free, but Mazhar Uğurata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attila Győri in the 19th minute of play forced ASC Amsterdam's goalkeeper Mazhar Uğurata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mazhar Uğurata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Attila Győri's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Conrado Romano hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Mazhar Uğurata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gafur Salim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zdeněk Vošahlík made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Jan Rein van Loo sent off a good shot on target. ASC Amsterdam were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Dinamo Pécs FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jan Hendrik Saveneij took the corner. After 44 played minutes ASC Amsterdam got a freekick which was hit by Ivor Sadler. In the 45th minute, Gáspár Czibor sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and ASC Amsterdam's Mazhar Uğurata didn't even have to move. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for William Raynard to strike the kick off in the second half. ASC Amsterdam's Mazhar Uğurata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gafur Salim in the 53rd minute of play. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind ASC Amsterdam's goalkeeper Mazhar Uğurata, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Dinamo Pécs FC's goal looked a bit too open when William Raynard came free, but Zdeněk Vošahlík reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dinamo Pécs FC's Zdeněk Vošahlík played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mart Sanders in the 80th minute of play. Vasile Ştefănuţ hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Gáspár Czibor notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of ASC Amsterdam's Mazhar Uğurata. Mazhar Uğurata was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Roman Noe had several of the ASC Amsterdam's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 91 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Mazhar Uğurata as he didn't even see the shot coming. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marc Evers during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th match minute, ASC Amsterdam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Evers to maneuver through the defense. Dinamo Pécs FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over ASC Amsterdam's much stronger midfield.
